Crows Nest Animal Hospital is looking for an incredible Customer Relations Officer/Receptionist to join our team
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time, Customer Relations Officer/Receptionist to join our wonderful team. This is a well-supported role and would suit a confident person who is a fantastic communicator and is driven provide the best service to our clients and their pets.
While experience in a veterinary clinic is ideal, it is not essential as our focus is excellence in customer service.
The role is a full-time position however a part time role would be considered for the right candidate.
Our Clinic:
Crows Nest Animal Hospital (formerly Riverview Animal Hospital) moved into our brand new, well equipped, purpose-built hospital in June of 2020. We are a well-established small animal hospital located in the vibrant village of Crows Nest. We pride ourselves on providing high quality and professional care to our wonderful clients and their pets.
Our amazing team consists of 7 vets and 15 nurses/receptionists. We have a great clinic culture and offer opportunities for learning and development.
Our ‘boss’ is a very demanding ginger cat Rudy, who thinks the entire team’s main role is to supply chicken treats and pats whenever he commands it. He may be just a little spoilt!
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing excellent customer service on phones, emails and in person.
Triaging phone calls
Managing bookings for consultations, boarding and surgery as per protocol
Administration duties
Client and patient data management
Financial transactions
Processing Insurance claims
Processing Pathology results
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised front of house.
Assist in IT management and problem solving
Assist in stock management and deliveries
Assisting in marketing and social media management
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Love for pets and their people
2+ years of veterinary customer service experience
Be friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills
Have a professional and caring work ethic
Personable phone manner
Work well within a busy team
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
