We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Relations/Commissioning Engineer, who will serve as the point of contact for customers by providing technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the commissioning process of our robotic systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills and a customer-focused spirit to effectively manage and execute the installation, testing and commissioning of our robots.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquires, concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Facilitate between customers and internal teams, ensuring customer requirements are understood and met.
- Lead the on-site installation and commissioning of robotic systems, ensuring the meet performance specifications as intended.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting and fine-tuning to optimize robot performance.
- Provide on-site and remote support during the commissioning phase.
- Offer technical guidance and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
- Develop and deliver training materials, user manuals and relevant documentation to ensure customers can operate the robots independently.
- Coordinate project timelines and milestones with internal teams and customers, ensuring on-time delivery and commissioning.
- Manage and document project progress, including installation reports, test results and customer feedback.
- Ensure all installations comply with company and industry safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures during commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 3-5 years proven experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably in engineering or automation industry.
- 2-3 years hands-on experience with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of various systems.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of software tools such as LINUX.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (GRC and abroad).
- Valid driver’s license.
