About the job

As the Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll be helping to bring our customers’ success stories to the forefront of everything we do. You will be a key partner throughout marketing and go to market teams, leading foundational customer marketing projects including our reference program, customer review sites, and beyond. This role will include heavy cross functional partnership, vendor management and meticulous attention to detail. As this team scales, our operational excellence becomes even more critical, and that is where you come in.

Excellent project management skills in addition to understanding where customer marketing and advocacy fit into the marketing funnel and sales cycles are key to this role.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Collaborate across marketing, sales, customer success, enablement and beyond to oversee foundational customer marketing programs including: Reference Program, Review Programs, CABs
  • Drive processes at scale to optimize the way customer marketing partners with teams across the business to amplify customer stories across everything we do
  • Own the reference program solution including vendor management, administration, enablement etc.
  • Help establish our customer marketing center of excellence while always wearing our customers shoes

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer marketing or reference manager roles
  • Experience building and/or supporting customer reference programs and CABs
  • Excellent organization and project management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience working directly with B2B enterprise sales teams and customers

Desired:

  • Experience with ReferenceEdge (Point of Reference) or similar customer advocacy technologies
  • Experience with online review sites such as Gartner Peer Insights, G2, TrustRadius

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in California, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Washington.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 15% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado or Washington D.C.: $84,320 - $105,400.

  • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $89,280 - $111,600.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $99,200 - $124,000.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
