What you'll be doing - Te whakamahere
- Partner with a portfolio of Māori customers across food and beverage and consumer goods. You'll bring your commercial credibility, exceptional relationship building and external stakeholder management skills along with a collaborative approach to achieving collective goals for growing export.
- Listen and understand customers in your portfolio to understand their kaupapa, their challenges and opportunities and assist them with our networks and exporting services to achieve their international growth goals.
- Help attract ambitious Māori exporters to bring into the Te Taurapa Tūhono | NZTE customer portfolio.
What you'll need to be successful - Ō Pūkenga
- Commercially minded, customer centric and a strong communicator who is able to connect to our customers with empathy, credibility and commercial reality.
- You will understand the context and dynamics of Māori business and will have the ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Your commercial experience may have been gained from within one industry however, this is not a deal breaker as your dynamic learning ability, energy, interest and drive to help Māori businesses to succeed is more important to us.
- This is a culturally led, commercially capable role where we will proactively support your te ao Māori journey throughout your career with Te Taurapa Tūhono.
