Why not help ourselves? We asked. And so, with time and effort (and lots of coffee), we mastered small business finance – and Holvi was born.

Our vision is simple: Eliminate the distractions of financial admin and simplify work life, because running a business is hard enough. Small businesses shouldn’t have to worry about spreadsheets and lost receipts.

Right now, we’re looking for Customer Due Diligence Summer Trainee (German/Finnish speaking) joining our Customer Lifecycle Task Force.

As a CDD Summer trainee at Holvi, your main responsibility is to support existing customers to keep their business information up to date according to your CDD (Customer Due Diligence) guidelines and policies.  

A typical day for you could look like:

• Thoroughly review, assess, and validate customer data in line with our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) guidelines and policies.
• Engage with customers to gather any additional information needed for their requests.
• Proactively reach out to customers via phone to assist them with updating their business information and provide friendly reminders.
• Collaborate with team members to address tasks related to Customer Lifecycle Management.

Requirements

This is for you if:

• You're fluent in English and either German or Finnish, both in writing and speaking
• Connecting with customers through phone and email brings you joy 
• You have customer service experience
• Prioritising tasks and promptly addressing any issues comes naturally to you
• You like to work in a team environment, are self-motivated and working from the office brings you joy
• Assessing complex cases in line with compliance requirements is a challenge you're excited to tackle
• You are interested in compliance and regulations 
• Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and determination are top-notch
• You're curious, a quick learner, and love sharing your learnings with others
  

It's a plus if:

• You have a background in banking, law, or compliance
• You've got previous experience in onboarding customers to regulated services

Logistics:

• This is a fixed-term trainee position during the summer months. We would hope you to start the very latest 15th of May 2024 but we can be flexible if necessary. The employment ends on 1st of October 2024.
• The employment is paid according to the Holvi's Collective Agreement of the IT services sector (Tietotekniikan palvelualan työehtosopimus, TiPal)
• Flexible work hours between 08:00 and 18:00 in our new beautiful Helsinki office
