We are looking for an experienced and customer segmentation literate person to lead its new data segmentation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Segmentation Manager to manage end to end implementation of customer segmentation on our newly joined database.  Our customer database has been reset and as a result we are looking to design, implement and deploy a new customer segmentation on an extended scope.

This role is an 18-month FTC, based at our Kings Cross office with hybrid working. This is your chance to be involved in a transforming project for our company with the possibility to extend into a permanent contract. The close date for this role is 1st November 2024. We’re looking for someone to:

  • Be responsible for validating the RFP requirements and amending them where needed. You will lead the RFP process with our procurement and legal teams to find the right supplier for Eurostar to deliver a robust customer data segmentation.
  • You will lead the entirety of the segmentation project, having responsibility for the budget, management methodology and stakeholder management.
  • You will oversee the day-to-day management of the company successful of the RFP until the customer data segmentation is delivered.
  • Working with an analyst, you will ensure the data segmentation can be implemented in various reports and its use maximised to extract the biggest value of this segmentation

Requirements

You’ll need:

  • To be an expert of data segmentation techniques and would ideally have experience of having delivered a customer segmentation in a B2C environment (retail, consumer goods, transportation or similar industries).
  • Have experience on managing a project to time and to budget using traditional project management methodology, on communicating at all levels of the company and ideally understands the travel sector
  • Understands the theory of customer segmentation, is aware of the different quantitative segmentation techniques and at ease to implement them with a high degree of accuracy.
  • To navigate the market of segmentation providers and evaluate their propositions impartially, and work alongside them for the delivery of the segmentation.
  • Know the importance of obtaining an accurate segmentation and is familiar with an iteration process to deliver this accuracy.
  • Able to implement the different methodologies to obtain a high degree of accuracy in the segmentation and elaborate processes for refining the segmentation algorithms, as well as recommend best practices in evaluating their results.
  • You will be a forward thinker, and an excellent communicator and team player.
