Customer Contract Specialist (within BA OESL)

The positions main responsibility is to provide expert support for the contract review and warranty process of OESL with major focus on Quality related topics. These activity include evaluation and negotiation of relevant customer requirements for assigned customers, to minimize Quality related negative impact on our buisiness in line with internal and international standards and strategies of the BA OESL.

Main tasks: 

• Representing Quality in contract review teams
• Negotiation of new customer quality requirements for assigned customers   
•  Evaluation of contracts/requirements and feasibility check for  implementation     
• Monitoring of appropriate internal and external sources for new OESL relevant quality requirements
• Drive, coordinate and support worldwide evaluation and negotiation of Customer Specific Requirements    
• Prepare training material related to Contract-/ Warranty Management and CSR and perform respective trainings for Quality, other functions and locations
• Support OESL locations during internal-, IATF- and (for assigned) customer Audits regarding questions related to Contract and Warranty Management

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree 
• 2+ years relevant working experience in automotive business with direct OEM customer contact
• Customer communication experience
• Experience to lead challenging negotiations / conversations focusing on constructive work results
• Knowledge in
  • VDA, AIAG, customer, legal and automotive related quality requirements
  • Internal Quality Management Standards
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands on Experience with Customer Specific requirement
• Experience with SOR and SOW
• Experience with Commercial and/or Quality Contracts
• Ideally experienced with GM, Honda NA and/or  Ford and Continental PLC experience
