The custody manager directs activities for the County of Blair Custody Office, supervises two full-time staff, and works closely with multiple internal and external customers. Essential duties include developing and maintaining all systems necessary to process and track cases; reviewing and monitoring custody filings, court orders, and custody files to handle in a timely fashion; attending court proceedings, providing information and assistance as needed; addressing questions; collaborating with service provider for Custody Education Program; providing monthly statistics; investigating problems that affect case flow, recommending or implementing corrective measures; and preparing budget.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; minimum of two years' work experience; effective written and verbal communications skills; effective interpersonal relations skills; a courteous, patient, and professional demeanor; experience recognizing and maintaining confidentiality; computer literacy; and ability to learn and maintain knowledge of custody laws in Pennsylvania. Work must be performed onsite in Hollidaysburg, PA.
