CSSO/AFSO
Praxis Engineering is looking for talented and motivated security professionals to join our growing team. In this position, you will play an integral part in a multi-faceted role that includes primary CSSO duties as well as AFSO roles and responsibilities.
What you will be doing:
As the CSSO/AFSO you will:

Assist Security Manager with implementation, enforcement, execution and monitoring of security policies and procedures IAW the National Industrial Security Operation Manual (NISPOM) and applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s); ensures compliance with all aspects of the security program

Use appropriate information management process and tools to manage security requirements
- Manage collateral and TS/SCI personnel security clearances and processes
- Maintain SCIF visitor control functions to include processing outgoing visit requests and certifications

Issue programs access control badges as required
- Provide employee security briefings and debriefings

Work closely with Security Manager to investigate and report security violations, and incident reports
- Maintain the security database of classified holdings entering and exiting the facility
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed
- Function as part of the security team wearing several hats, including Security Education and Awareness and Training Program, Insider Threat Team member and COMSEC duties as assigned
- Maintain awareness and understanding for the protection of CUI information
What you need:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a degree
- Eight (8) years of industry knowledge

Extensive knowledge of Industrial and Program Security, along with knowledge managing program security requirements ensuring the security team maintains a security program in accordance with the NISPOM, ICD’s and other applicable security regulations
- Critical communication and relationship building with program managers and deputy program/project assistance ensuring security requirements are proactively managed
- DCSA FSO certification for processing facilities is required
- Thorough knowledge of using/applying US Government online programs, to include but not limited to Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS), the National Industrial Security System (NISS), and National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
- Industrial security experience; work within SCI security program
- Knowledge and experience generating DD254s to include subcontractor DD254s
- Knowledge of NISPOM and other government regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role please change if the clearance level is different.
Salary range:
$87,127.00 - $195,500.00 (Annually)*
