Crypto Payments Engineer with Java & JavaScript

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a high-performing team to develop efficient and effective software solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code across various programming languages
• Design, deliver and manage robust scalable backend systems for enterprise use
• Implement rigorous testing methodologies to ensure system resilience under high volume
• Stay ahead of the curve by actively learning and applying new technologies

This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.

Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.

• 5+ years of experience (or 4+ years with a Master's degree) building software
• Strong backend programming skills in Java, Javascript and NodeJS
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance distributed systems
• A solid understanding of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with blockchain technologies (public, private, and permissioned)
• A plus if you have experience with DeFi apps, security protocols and payment processing
• A passion for learning and tackling complex problems
• Experience with payments and financial services compliance is a bonus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
