Job Summary:
The role of the CRM Marketing Specialist II is to plan, develop, and execute email marketing campaigns for iHerb’s domestic and international markets. This position will collaborate with in-house creative teams, translators, and IT to guide the development, execution, optimization, and reporting of email, mobile push, in-app messages, and SMS campaigns.
Job Expectations:
Develop and execute email, mobile push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS campaigns that drive revenue growth through retention and cross-selling.
Build and execute welcome series emails, referral rewards program drip campaigns, shopping cart abandonment emails, and other lifecycle campaigns.
Report on results of email campaigns including opens, click-through rates, revenue, unsubscriptions, product performance, etc.
Develop and continually optimize toward an efficient email production process, maximizing both internal and external resources.
Use data to understand our customers better and improve our communications' open rate and timing.
Keep abreast of the industry’s best practices and technology.
Collaborate in the management of 3rd party vendors.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and execution complexity

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
Experience with ESPs and building business requirements for list segments, workflows, and triggered events—knowledge of Iterable and Simon Data a major plus.
Knowledge of email best practices including targeted lists, subject lines, messaging, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM/anti-spam legislation.
Experience with Google Analytics
Error-free, clear, and engaging copywriting.
Knowledge of HTML a plus.
Detailed and deadline-oriented with excellent project management skills.
Preferably bilingual in Arabic, Korean, or Japanese
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience with project management tools such as Asana
Experience Requirements:
Generally requires 3-5 years of experience as an email marketing specialist in an e-commerce environment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
