CRM Dynamics Software Developer (C#/.NET)

As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Engineer, you will leverage your MS Dynamics experience to support an eCommerce organization's redevelopment and digital transformation. Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be integrated with web portals and applications to manage client data and implement custom capabilities to support various business needs, customers, stakeholders, and staff.

When you join our team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to work on solution development activities, from initial requirement capture and refinement through core data model development to software architecture and implementation. Your previous experience working in an Agile setting will support you in providing thought leadership in architecture, development, management, training, measurement, and presentation to clients.

This hybrid role will require 2 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining a platform roadmap and future direction for MS CRM within the enterprise
  • Understand business needs, workflows, and processes, documenting where necessary
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and others to implement MS CRM solutions
  • Use a rich range of tools including plugins, custom entities, and API to build and integrate solutions
  • Create estimates on time and effort to complete assignments based on end-user requirements
  • Participate in sprint release schedule planning and tracking
  • Participate fully and actively in MS CRM solution deployments, provisioning activities, and support
  • Participate in additional software development projects outside the MS CRM framework
  • Coach, mentor, and direct other staff in the design of solutions based upon MS CRM
  • Continually promote efficiencies and improved standards in the context of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience developing solutions for CRM 2013 and higher, especially with the Sales, Customer Service, and Commerce modules
  • 6+ years of strong, hands-on ASP.NET, C# development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented and .NET development principles, methodologies, and tools such as xRM, Web Services, RESTful API, Multithreading, LINQ, Entity Framework, JQuery, and Bootstrap
  • 6+ years of Microsoft SQL server experience
  • Knowledge of relational database principles and TSQL (DML, DDL, DCL, and TCL)
  • Experience designing reports using Microsoft SQL Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience performing customizations with .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and XML
  • Established ability to install and deploy MS CRM Organizations
  • Ability to customize and create MS CRM entities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business processes and workflows
  • Experience using the MS CRM SDK or plugin platforms
  • Broad knowledge of Agile Development, DevOps tools and practices, source code control, and CI/CD
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize user stories to drive the design or review of test cases and process change requests
  • Willingness to assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing MS CRM installation or application errors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, both within the team and with business stakeholders
  • Strong desire to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes and capable of enforcing processes and procedures

Preferred Experience

  • Development and Scripting experience
  • UI Design experience
  • Experience using JIRA and other tools to manage changes in project scope and schedule
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technical specification documentation for new MS CRM projects based on functional requirements documents
  • Experience implementing software application quality assurance test case scenarios
