Continental Italy Spa is looking for a Credit Professional
Main Goal
Management of trade receivables, in compliance with HQ policies, to safeguard working capital and minimize financial risks
Activities
- He/She will be the contact point for all credit management issues concerning the assigned customers
- Authorize and process orders subject to credit approval
- Credit management activities
- Request any guarantees to support the credit line
- Verify that the exposure of the customers remains within the authorized credit line
- Check overdue items and carry out collection and prevention activities
- Maintain all accounting records relating to customers and all Back Office operations
- Prepare and process periodic aging and any other type of internal and external report, in accordance with local procedures and guidelines
- He/she manages overdue situations on customers with definition of the repayment plan and related supplies
- Maintains collaborative relationships with external consultants (law firms)
- She/he is the point of reference for internal customers
- Degree in economics or law
- 3-5 years' experience in similar roles
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
- Good accounting knowledge
- Italian mother tongue with good English proficiency
- Results-oriented with strong focus on processes, deadlines, and objectives
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with internal customers
