We’re seeking a dynamic and creative Creator in Residence to take the reins of our social media channels for our talent and sports businesses. This Director-level role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes digital culture, understands the nuances of content creation, and has a keen eye for trends. You will be the voice of Whalar Talent across platforms, crafting compelling narratives, engaging with our community, and showcasing the talents of the Creators and athletes we represent, and staff on our team.
This individual must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong project management capabilities, videography, photography, and editing capabilities as well as a passion for creative strategy, a drive to be innovative, and an eye for creative design. The ideal candidate will work closely with Whalar Talent leadership and Whalar Group’s Marketing and Communications team to ideate and plan social campaigns, working with both internal and external resources to execute, owning the content curation/creation, brand identity and management, timelines, and processes. They will be eager and willing to roll up their sleeves, learn and try new things, and get stuff done.
This person will be part of a forward-thinking team that’s shaping the future of digital talent and sports management. The candidate must be based in the NY area, but able to publish and work with global teams. They must be able and willing to come to an office 1-2 days a week or as needed.
The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 and serves as a general guideline reflecting the potential compensation for the role. The final salary offer will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as the candidate's experience, expertise, alignment with the position's requirements, and ultimately budget approvals.
