The Creative Engineer (Design) is responsible for the execution of design deliverables. These deliverables include creating image assets, resizing display and social media banners, and refreshing digital layouts and templates. The Creative Engineer (Design) works integrated with a larger team and can handle complex digital design projects efficiently under minimum supervision from either a Senior Creative Engineer (Design) or a Creative Engineer Lead; he also handles digital projects independently.


 

You will

  • Independently handles the creation of design deliverables in the following areas: site/app maintenance, image processing, photo retouching, digital advertising and decks template creation. The deliverables include (but are not limited to) layout skinning, layout, red lines, image asset creation, image optimization, image resizes & cropping, photo retouching & photomontage, animated and static online advertising banners and emails, decks and visual guidelines creation, either by creating them from scratch or by following brand guidelines.
  • Communicates effectively with design team members, project managers and design leads and clients when required.
  • Provides excellent quality assurance on all of his/her deliverables.
  • Stays up to date with recent design trends and new technologies.
  • Maintains a solid working knowledge of the latest design tools, platforms and technologies in the industry.

 

You have

  • English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation).
  • 2+ yrs. Experience in advertising agencies, digital agencies, design agencies, and/or startups.
  • Experience working in design teams in the following areas: site/app maintenance, digital marketing, digital animation, email, and print, preferably for international clients and global brands.
  • Experience creating assets for digital products.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, trends and systems.
  • Ability to handle complex digital projects independently.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, digital and online advertising.
  • Understanding of interactivity, animation principles and best practices.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong knowledge of Keynote, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Animate.
  • Strong knowledge of UI design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
  • Strong knowledge of productivity tools: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
  • Knowledge of remote collaboration tools (MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, Drive, Box, Paper, Evernote) and workflow management tools (Workfront, Jira, Trello, Asana, Basecamp).
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design Advertising Design or related field or equivalent experience in advertising and/or digital agencies or startups.
  • Any certification, course, or training on UX, UI, visual design, design systems, marketing campaigns, business, and/or design thinking.
