We are in search of a Creative Director (Copywriter, Multicultural) with experience writing for and an understanding of the Spanish Mexican market to join our creative team. We are seeking a native Spanish speaker who understands the regionalisms of Mexico.

You will lead brands, mentor associates, and manage the daily progress of a project from start to finish. You'll be paired with a CD, Art. You will report to an Executive Creative Director.

Accountabilities:

·      Develop creative solutions and produce work across a variety of platforms and media including TV, video, digital, OOH, print, paid social, activations

·      Be a part of the creative process from brainstorming to the final product, ensuring quality and style meet both our standards, and the client’s objectives

·      Win a room over. Explain the creative work and your rationale behind it. Evoke excitement and passion with your recommendations 

·      Cultivate relationships with internal account teams and clients 

·      Manage teams of writers, art directors, and designers 

·      Provide constructive feedback and nurture every good idea 

·      Set a tone that is respectful, collaborative, and wildly creative. Grow and nurture the culture of your team 

·      Be willing to jump in and work across all levels of the campaign 

·      Collaborate and partner with cross-department teams (Producers, Designers, and Strategy account) to develop and craft the final deliverables 

·      Push the creative integrity of all campaigns and deliverables and steer teams' conceptual thinking 

·      Maintain knowledge of each clients’ products, marketing objectives, and schedules, to create work 

·      Productively involve yourself in the selection, planning, training, and any relevant HR matters 

·      Identifies opportunities to increase the depth and breadth of creative work performed for clients, both from an understanding of your client's business and needs, but also from a knowledge of the industry, innovation, and competitors. Recognize opportunities. Be creative. A lot can be done with any brief. 

·      Realizes the strategic direction and creative vision of the agency and takes ownership of the delivery of the client’s brand vision 

·      Leads the creative team through regular work reviews, check-ins, goal planning, and training. 

·      Mentors direct reports, creates a supportive culture, and encourages people to excel 

·      Responsible for new business pitch, creative leadership and delivery 

·      Ensures the best creative resource is allocated to the correct projects by liaising with Resource and Project Management

 

  • Demonstrate ability to creatively work and collaborate with senior clients and leadership 
  • Agency experience working on 360 campaigns with an emphasis on TV and paid social
  • 7+ years' experience as a multicultural copywriter with a specific focus on the Spanish Mexican market in an agency or marketing environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing successful campaigns targeting Spanish-speaking Mexican audiences.
  • Writing and editing skills in Spanish.
  • Cultural fluency and a demonstrated understanding of the Mexican market's linguistic and cultural nuances.

 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000 - $219,360. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
