About the Role

We seek a talented and experienced Creative Director, to grow a leading tech account. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented creatives, and designers to drive creative vision and strategy, ensuring the process and delivery of digital comms.You have exceptionally high standards in your work, elevating craft, and inspiring impact in ourselves and our skills. You bring a proactive & progressive, creative instinct and bold vision to the work, and you know how to nurture teams and talent to do the best work. You can think holistically about the whole digital experience, finding connections when our client partners cannot.

You will work closely with account leadership on how we continue to grow and support our decade-long relationship. You will need to work collaboratively and inclusively across brand, strategy, product, event, content and integrated marketing teams through various opportunities while also supporting your ever-growing creative team. Of equal importance is your influencing prowess with clients while being ever humble and adaptable. 

The Role:

  • Based in Dublin, but leading a team based in Ireland and London.
  • Lead and manage teams to concept and shape marketing communications, visual language, and creative strategy.
  • Improve accountability across your creative teams through stellar management, building strong morale and cultivating a positive creative environment.
  • Review key creative briefs and oversee the presentation of final concepts and work to ensure the correct and best strategy and creativity are being delivered. 
  • Use conceptual strength to develop creative output and direction with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and drive the work forward.
  • Promote a team mindset that embraces change, inclusivity, and a can-do attitude, to develop a team that drives creative innovation and is focused on delivering the best work possible. 
  • Drive thought leadership by continuously inspiring the team, our partners, and clients on the latest marketing best practices and tools from Media.Monks and the industry to connect creativity with great B2B marketing. 
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships that foster transparent feedback between agency and client, bigger partnership opportunities and new thinking.
  • Full understanding of the client’s business priorities and how we, as a partner, can help deliver against those priorities. Be able to take your team through the creative strategy, testing new processes, that allow the team to be nimble, agile, and responsive.

 

About You

The essentials:

  • 10+ years experience working for a A-list clients and brands (preferably tech) in agency and/or on client-side environments. 
  • B2B experience, not just products but audiences, industries, and business size. The difference in approach between enterprise and SMB doesn’t allude you. 
  • Technical understanding of complex B2B products, their solutions, workflows, and benefits to develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market creative solutions for clients. 
  • Experience creating for tech brands, boiling down technical messaging into clear ideas.
  • Inherently understand digital and social-first approaches that think way beyond traditional ad formats and budgets, with an exceptional creative background. 
  • Strong experience and creative leadership in creative performance marketing, learning agenda approaches and optimisation to show continuous improvement in creative performance.
  • You can lead, engage, and communicate effectively in all presentations, meetings, and discussions involving creative team performance, creative team structure, creative team process, and creative vision.
  • Line management experience and ability to grow and nurture a team.
  • Work flexibility from home in our office in Dublin, with occasional travel for shoots and productions.
  • An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas beyond the brief.
  • You are nice with positive vibes that can inspire coworkers to go the extra mile.
  • Proficient (English) presentation and communication skills.
