Position Overview

The Country Manager at Nexleaf Analytics oversees and manages all operations within a designated country. This includes building and maintaining strategic relationships, driving deeper engagement and impact, coordinating our presence in the country, and ensuring successful implementation of Nexleaf programs. Acting as the primary representative of Nexleaf Analytics, the Country Manager aligns local activities with global strategies and objectives. This role requires a strategic, results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of local dynamics, committed to driving positive impact and ensuring smooth execution of all activities.

This role reports reports to the Senior Manager of Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, partners, and customers.
  • Represent Nexleaf Analytics at external events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and influence.

Channeling Market Intelligence and Feedback:

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and product development.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback and insights to internal teams to shape products and programs.

Nurturing Impact Opportunities:

  • Identify and oversee new opportunities for greater impact within the country.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the effectiveness and reach of company programs and initiatives.

Project Management and Implementation:

  • Manage the execution and reporting of all milestones under active grants, including ensuring milestones are being met by subcontractors and the budget is on track
  • Co-design and develop both the Rapid Response and Repair (R3) playbook and methodology and Rapid Response Fund with the MoH and in-country partner.
  • Attend and actively participate in vaccine cold chain technical working group meetings, and other MOH and partner organized meetings in-country, to represent Nexleaf and to contribute to cold chain data and maintenance discussions.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams and key stakeholders to assist with product development and customer support.

Support Outreach and Advocacy Efforts:

  • Document program successes, best practices, and lessons learned to inform future program design and organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to identify opportunities to share project results externally (i.e. through blogs, articles, conference presentations, etc.).

Monitoring and Reporting on Activities:

  • Track and analyze the performance of programs and initiatives in the country, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Conduct post-mortem reviews to identify learnings and areas for improvement.

Coordinating Operations and Resources:

  • Coordinate country operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, financial oversight, and commercial contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Providing Customer Support and Training:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues, improving usability, and providing necessary training and support.
  • Develop and implement training programs and reference materials for local staff and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in international development, public health, or social impact sectors.
  • Deep understanding of project management, with a focus on managing stakeholders, milestones, and reporting learnings and findings. 
  • Experience working with international donors and development agencies.
  • Experience in policy advocacy and influencing government policies.
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience in managing customer relationships.
  • Ability to understand and address the needs and challenges of local customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and the local language of the country; additional languages are a plus.
