The Country Manager will play a crucial role in aligning our local efforts with global goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and spearheading operational excellence in Lithuania.
Role Overview:
The Country Manager will oversee all aspects of the Lithuania division, from day-to-day operations to strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with experience in operations management and scaling business units. This role involves managing local marketing efforts, ensuring time zone coordination, and establishing processes for maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the Lithuania division, ensuring alignment with global business strategies.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and develop local talent. Drive a high-performance culture that supports growth and innovation.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies for expanding the Lithuania division, including local market opportunities and partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure marketing efforts are seamlessly integrated across time zones, working closely with the global marketing team.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve business processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in operations management, preferably with experience managing marketing functions or scaling new business units.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, a strategic mindset, and experience in the Lithuanian market or similar.
- Remote Management Experience: Proven track record of managing remote or hybrid teams and integrating operations across multiple time zones.
- Track Record: Proven success in driving operational improvements and achieving financial targets.
- Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit combined with a passion for leading teams and implementing scalable processes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Meeting: Review the day’s priorities, discuss performance updates, and align the team on immediate goals.
- Team Leadership: Regularly engage with department heads (marketing, customer service, operations) to review their progress and provide support.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with global teams to coordinate efforts and ensure local activities are integrated seamlessly with global strategies.
- Business Process Optimization: Regularly evaluate local processes for potential improvements. Focus on streamlining workflows and increasing operational efficiency.
- Monthly Financial Review: Monitor financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins. Compare monthly performance to budget and make necessary adjustments.
- Talent Development: Focus on hiring, onboarding, and coaching local team members. Build a high-performance culture that drives results.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies for growing the business in the Lithuanian market. Track the implementation of growth initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly track KPIs for local teams and projects, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare regular updates for senior leadership, including performance reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
Salary: €70,000 - €140,000 annually + bonus 10% of salary.
Note: This role requires a self-employment certificate.
