Brief overview of the role

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to help us expand our clientele. This is a critical role at Euromonitor International as it is on the frontline of our business and will allow you the chance for to create and apply an effective sales strategy, expand your network with key companies in Australasia and take ownership of your time and career growth potential. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Product Knowledge

• Presents a complete Euromonitor (EMI) solution to client challenges.

• Understands and can maneuver within relevant syndicated systems.

• Understands all Consulting (customize research solutions) capabilities.

• Taking client feedback to syndicated and CG leaders.

• Easily making connections from our content to meet client challenges.

Territory and account Planning

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

• Building relationships, creating a deeper network inside organizations with consistent and proactive dialogue with multiple decision makers.

• Able to map, network, and penetrate an organizational structure as well as understand key business processes like strategic planning, innovation funnels, and new market entry strategies.

• Frequently challenge clients to constructively broaden their perspective.

Sales Process

• Asks questions to uncover needs and better understand the company.

• Building client relationships, understands client needs, industry & structure.

• Negotiating mutually beneficial pricing, coverage, CG process/lead form.

• Conducts effective demos, making connections with client needs & EMI services.

• Effectively qualifies and closes leads.

• Has a high number of transactions.

• Effectively forecasts sales pipeline.

• Creative approach to your clients’ function and industry

• Identify gaps in personal development for future growth, willing to work with management to customize your future growth opportunities.

Requirements

We are looking for a sales – orientated and driven person, ideally from within an on-line information marketplace with at least 2 years’ experience of selling in publishing, media, on-line information or consulting. The candidate must have strong communication skills and must be:

• Excellence in current role, goal oriented and consistently at or over target

• Autonomous.

• Willingness to learn and determination to succeed.

• A creative and proactive approach to selling.

• Excellent communication, presentation and selling skills, with attention to detail.

• Able to demonstrate strong rapport building skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
