Job Summary:
Implement and execute our corporate sales strategy/plan to expand corporate customer base and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- · Establish the needs of corporate customers and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to meet those needs. ·
- Ensure compliance with defined policies, procedures and guidelines in the execution of sales activities. ·
- Articulate and engage in activities aimed at increasing market share through acquisition of new accounts and proper management of existing corporate accounts. ·
- Ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded. ·
- Maintain database of all corporate customers. ·
- Proactively gather current customer data/information and regularly update customer database to ensure reliability and accuracy. ·
- Act as first line contact/liaison between the organisation and its corporate customers. ·
- Prepare discount approval requests where necessary and ensure endorsement by appropriate signatories. ·
- Follow up and ensure quick and accurate dispatch of products to customers. ·
- Track and manage credit sales to corporate clients and follow up to ensure prompt payment. ·
- Follow up with relevant departments to ensure constant availability of products for corporate customers. ·
- Prepare/compile periodic activity, financial and performance reports. ·
- Log and address customer queries and complaints; escalate as appropriate and follow-up to ensure proper resolution.

Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related discipline
- Post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant work experience

- · In-depth understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry. ·
- In-depth knowledge of DCP’s product and service offerings. ·
