Job Purpose: Enviva is looking for a Manager, Corporate Finance to support cash flow forecasting and management of the long-term corporate model.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the 13-week cash flow model and weekly cash flow variance analysis
- Develop a deep understanding of the business and manage the long-term corporate model
- Prepare various sensitivity and scenario analyses, and create presentations summarizing the impact to cash flow and key financial metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data and support for key assumptions included in the cash flow forecasts and long-term corporate model
- Support the annual budget and monthly close process for corporate and regional SG&A, and other corporate level expenditures
- Provide analytical support to the broader Finance Team including, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Accounting
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance data accuracy and integrity, and implement best practices to optimize operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Finance or Accounting.
- 5-6 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or other finance related field including FP&A, treasury, accounting, etc.
- Prior management experience
- Experience with energy, manufacturing, or industrial companies
- Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and well organized
- Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under critical deadlines, and manage workload with minimum supervision
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team, and assume additional responsibilities as required
- Ability to develop solid, trusted relationships.
- Strong MS Excel financial modeling skills and ability to produce high quality PowerPoint presentations
