Corporate Development Manager, Asia & Middle East

We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join our Corporate Development Asia & Middle East team.

This role is pivotal in supporting the company's growth in our key high-growth regions through strategic acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, divestitures, and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and market research, with a keen interest in the music and entertainment sector.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop detailed financial models and analyses to support valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring for potential transactions.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct comprehensive industry and competitor analysis to evaluate potential acquisition/investment targets, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives.
  • Due Diligence: Participate in all aspects of due diligence, including financial, operational, and legal due diligence, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external advisors as necessary.
  • Deal Execution: Support the end-to-end deal process from initial assessment through closing.
  • Presentation: Assist in the preparation of investment memos to communicate with senior management, crafting compelling stories and presentations that convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Reporting: Assist in tracking the progress of active and potential deals to update senior management.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, deal advisory, or a similar analytical role.
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to craft compelling stories and presentations to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passionate about the music industry and the entertainment sector.
