About the Role

Aegis is looking for a resourceful and intellectually curious Corporate Development Intern to work alongside our studio team and corporate partners. The role will support the Aegis corporate development team in building a network of health system partners. Modeled after the Aegis-Northwell partnership, these health systems will partner with Aegis as our closest partners, co-developers, and investors. Additionally, the role will focus on building content to support thought leadership initiatives.

In this dynamic, fast-paced role, interns will be expected to remain at the forefront of cutting-edge healthcare trends and play an integral part in laying the groundwork for these health system partnerships. The role is an ideal growth opportunity for those who are galvanized by the prospect of taking novel, industry-shaping initiatives from 0-to-1.

We envision interns to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership in advancing these partnerships. We will also provide interns with the support to succeed in building new businesses. We have assembled a team of healthcare and technology experts, in addition to other external partners who will work hand-in-hand with interns. We will also provide close mentorship from a team invested in personal development, to help you achieve your full potential.

A successful candidate will be able to work independently in ambiguous, unstructured work environments. We are looking for a high-energy, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial disposition and a willingness to leave no stone unturned in shepherding our business to the next level.

The internship will commence during the Spring 2024 MBA term, with flexible start and end dates depending on the candidate. Our preference is for individuals in this role to be New York-based.

  • An adaptable, fast-moving researcher
