The Opportunity:

Flywire is looking for a Corporate Development Associate to join our dynamic Corporate Development team, where you will play a key role in shaping Flywire's inorganic and organic growth strategy. You will gain exposure to a wide range of strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and new market opportunities. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior leaders on cross-functional teams to help drive the success of Flywire's global expansion efforts. Responsibilities include:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Independently conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions across Flywire’s four key verticals: Education, Travel, Healthcare and B2B
  • Navigate and utilize Flywire’s internal databases to inform analyses and tailor presentations for senior executives

M&A Analysis and Support:

  • Support the development and execution of Flywire’s inorganic and organic growth strategy by leading and coordinating due diligence efforts
  • Analyze and identify potential acquisition, partnership, and investment opportunities assessing financial performance, market position, and cultural fit
  • Help lead financial modeling and valuation analysis for M&A transactions 
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product, and Finance to enable smooth due diligence processes and successful integration of acquired companies
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership to communicate key insights and recommendations
  • Provide ongoing support in post-acquisition activities and monitor integration progress

What We’re Looking For:

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and a strong desire to learn
  • Proven experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000 - $115,000 plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. Your Talent Acquisition Partner can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
