Corporate Collections Specialist

About the Team

Careem Deliveries is looking for a Corporate Collections Specialist for its Careem B2B business to ensure that customers’ debts are collected in line with contractual terms.

What You'll Do: 

  • Effective collaboration with team members, business partners and stakeholders across markets including UAE, KSA & Qatar, and Jordan for recovery/collection from clients
  • Collection of due receivables  from clients in a timely manner as per credit terms of the service contract and Careem’s credit and collection policy
  • Regular monitoring of client payments and dispute  resolution where necessary
  • Investigation of payment discrepancies
  • Issuing Credit notes to clients in oracle 
  • Generating SOAs of clients for visibility and action on due receivables 
  • Performing required analysis, reports and controls
  • Ensuring performance metrics are met
  • Address client inquiries or disputes related to payments and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare regular aging reports and share updates on outstanding receivables with the team.
  • Contact customers via phone or email to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
  • Record incoming payments and match them against customer invoices.

What You'll Need: 

  • Degree in Economics, Accounting or any related Finance/Business course preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience 
  • Previous experience with Oracle would be a plus
  • Proactive approach and demonstrating full ownership of assigned tasks
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
