OPPORTUNITY
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Coro Northern California will be entrusted with the strategic and operational leadership of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead the mission of Coro Northern California by providing direction, vision, and guidance to ensure the organization's continued success and growth.
The next CEO will be a strategic, business-minded, operationally savvy, and culturally empathetic leader with demonstrated executive nonprofit experience. They will have a proven track record in securing fundraising from individual donors, foundations, government and earned revenue sources. The right candidate has demonstrated experience building and maintaining an inclusive internal culture promoting transparency, collaboration, and diversity. Their ability to provide operational and financial leadership is essential, along with the resourcefulness to effectively develop and lead teams.
The CEO will influence and change the leadership journeys of hundreds of people, from high school students to C-level executives, to learning more about themselves, their communities, and what it takes to help foster a thriving democracy. This role provides an exciting opportunity to help define and expand Coro’s civic leadership portfolio and impact.

This is a full-time, exempt position that offers a competitive salary range of $230,000 - $260,000, and robust benefits including medical, dental, 401k match and a generous PTO/flexible work policy. We currently have a hybrid work environment with staff having a minimum of two days in our downtown San Francisco offices each week. You can check out our team here.
