Core Account Manager, Client Experience

Are you passionate about building meaningful client relationships and driving exceptional service? Merchants Fleet is looking for a Core Account Manager to join our Client Experience team! In this dynamic role, you'll manage a portfolio of diverse clients ranging from privately held firms to Fortune 500 multinational organizations. You'll be the go-to contact, ensuring our clients receive outstanding support and the timely delivery of our fleet management services.

What your day will look like

  • Be the Client Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact, resolving client issues, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work with internal teams and clients to deliver insights, develop solutions, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Drive Results: Take ownership of account retention and growth, with the autonomy to make a real impact.
  • Embrace Variety: From managing fleet orders to providing consultative services, every day offers new challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Client Development Managers to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of client needs, from ordering to billing.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins and health reviews to ensure account stability.
  • Promote and support client self-sufficiency using our innovative technologies.
  • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to onboard new clients and optimize long-term service.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in fleet management/leasing or a related field, with proven client service skills. CAFM certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong Microsoft Office skills and CRM experience.
  • Mindset: Results-driven, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
