Copywriter

We’re looking for an organized, proactive copywriter to join our team. Are you an exceptional writer and storyteller who wants to put those skills to work in the world of digital marketing? 

Do you love to create engaging blog, website, social media, PR and newsletter content, and understand how that content fits into a larger marketing plan? Are you empathetic, detail-oriented, and excited to get to know our clients? Can you pivot the voice and tone of your copy as needed?

In this role you will work on a variety of assignments and interface with different types of clients. You’ll need to be self-sufficient, and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

As a successful member of our team, you will:

• Be able to understand complex subject matter and simplify it for the reader
• Participate in the creation of Brand Messaging and Digital Marketing strategies
• Adhere to all agency style and grammar guidelines
• Understand and implement the basics of SEO and content optimization

You must have a journalism or English degree, or equivalent work experience, and be comfortable with Wordpress, MailChimp and the major social media channels.

*Experience with StoryBrand marketing framework is preferred.

*Knowledge of general AI tools is preferred.

KWSM operates on a 9/80 work schedule. This means we have every other Friday off, allowing us to get more accomplished in fewer days and enjoy three-day weekends every other week. We work a hybrid schedule – 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. This is a full-time, salaried, hybrid in-office position. (Can be located in any KWSM office – CA, NV, GA)
