Controlling Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Controlling Analyst to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. As a key member of our Controlling department, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial analysis, supporting decision-making processes, and driving operational efficiency.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including budgets, forecasts, and cost variations related to materials, labor, and operations
• Execute Variable Cost Calculations (VCCs) for new projects and establish/update standard costs, ensuring alignment with SAP data and expected margins
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and track cost-saving opportunities
• Support the plant leadership team with cost center reporting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial reports
• Perform product costing activities and prepare quarterly product cost information
• Assist in month-end closing processes, including journal entries and productivity metrics calculations
• Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and fixed asset tagging

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SAP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, with emphasis on cost accounting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across different cultures and departments
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English
