Player Design, Inc is seeking a Controller, to be based in their Portland, Maine or Presque Isle, Maine office.
Requirements of the Controller position:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in accounting, 3+ years in a management position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Periodic travel is required to various sites.
Benefits of the Job:
- Pay in the range of: $110,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities of the Controller:
- Compile and analyze monthly financial reporting packages
- Assist in development of annual budget
- Prepare financial analysis as needed to support strategic decision-making and operating goals.
- Maintain financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
- Provide leadership and support to accounts payable, purchasing and accounts receivable functions.
- Work closely with operations to support their activities and ensure timely, accurate payments.
- Prepare tax return workpapers and assist in responding to external tax preparer requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Player Design, Inc. is a leader in solid fuel energy systems and industrial drying systems. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and has one direct report employee.
