Position Overview:
Robusta is looking for a highly experienced Control & Support Head to oversee the strategic direction and operational management of our control functions. This role is essential in ensuring compliance and excellence in all financial and operational processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
- Monitor and assess risk management practices, ensuring that controls are effective and align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of internal controls, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the support function to ensure efficient and effective operational processes across the organization.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance and control procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders regarding control issues and remediation efforts.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices to anticipate potential impacts on the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or risk management roles, preferably in a leadership position.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, risk management frameworks, and internal control best practices.
- Certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing audits and working with external authorities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
