Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Contracts Director who will thrive in a dynamic, agile organization. Position Overview:

The Contracts Director will oversee all aspects of contracting and subcontracting operations, ensuring compliance with, contractual requirements, federal regulations and organizational policies. This role involves strategic planning, contract negotiation, and relationship management with both our internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the federal procurement process, contract and subcontract administration, and a strong understanding of government regulations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement contracting strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Implement, enhance, and maintain contract management processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in contract and subcontract management process.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage performance of 5-10 Contract/Subcontract Administrators (dependent on growth).
  • Establish individual performance goals, engage in development conversations, and assess individual and team performance.
  • Full lifecycle contract and subcontract management associated with the company’s portfolio of contracts, including proposal development, negotiations, execution, and administration.
  • Identify and mitigating risk, successfully negotiating favorable terms and pricing, and making recommendations to executive management.
  • Utilize a thorough knowledge of government and commercial contracting and procurement regulations to ensure the flow down of appropriate clauses and compliance with contract specifications and applicable laws.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, ensuring deliverables meet quality and time standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer representatives and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, finance, program, and operations to support contract objectives.
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring activities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, government contract changes, and emerging opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business administration or related field, or equal relevant experience and professional training.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in a federal contract management/procurement role. With 5+ years of management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAR, DFARS, relevant contract laws and regulations, and DCAA/DCMA compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Expert level ability with MS Office (particularly Excel).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience supporting R&D programs.
  • CFCM Certification or similar certification.
  • Experience with a CPSR.
  • Experience with Unanet
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in government contracting.

Clearance/Citizenship:

  • The candidate must have eligibility for a TS clearance.
