Affiliate Marketing Manager - Performance

UpTrending Performance is looking for a new affiliate marketing account manager to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will be a collaborator with an entrepreneurial spirit who takes pride and ownership in their work. They will be expected to manage existing publisher relationships while being responsible for recruiting new high-quality traffic placements for our clients. They will be proficient in account management and business development. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing start up while building relationships with leading publishers in the industry and growing traffic for top name brand advertisers. 

The Position:

  • Primary responsibility will be building and cultivating strong, trusted relationships with key direct publishers.
  • Manage the full pipeline process of prospecting, qualifying, launching, optimizing, and growing new publisher relationships.
  • Develop relationships with new traffic sources through email, marketing campaigns, and occasional cold calls.
  • Analyze metrics for revenue and margin results, recommend and implement changes to achieve targeted goals. 
  • Optimize advertiser offers with appropriate publisher partners to drive volume, quality and favorable traffic. 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit new affiliates through various approaches including social networks, industry groups, marketplace sites, etc.
  • Get affiliates excited and engaged about offers/products/services
  • Reengage inactive affiliates and deepen relationship with existing affiliates to drive traffic growth
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and commission structures for affiliates
  • Maintain constant and consistent direct communication with affiliates and recommend new campaigns and provide performance feedback
  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate traffic
  • Proactively monitor traffic sources to determine which affiliates should be prioritized and focused on
  • Present reports for relevant program metrics such as number of affiliate partners recruited, conversion rates, number of conversions generated per affiliate, etc.
  • Implement opportunities to enhance and improve affiliate campaigns
  • Optimization for all KPI's

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in the digital landscape. Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
  • The ability to independently and aggressively prospect, recruit, and onboard direct publishers
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in digital marketing with a focus on affiliate marketing and direct response
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills. Experience in forecasting
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Power user of Excel and CRM systems
  • Experience with basic database management, marketing pixels, and reporting platforms (HasOffers)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in one-on-one settings or in groups and teams
  • Good listening, observation and learning skills
  • Purpose and results-driven with an ability to accomplish tasks on deadlines
  • Demonstrated proficiency with numbers and data
  • Able to work collaboratively across teams
