SEARCH has an opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest professional standard for our clients, co-workers, media, and general public.
  • Assume Contracts Specialist duties on existing and new corporate contracts and agreements.
  • Refine and maintain corporate contracts and agreements master list.
  • Review and analyze master list to identify data gaps, expired/expiring contracts or agreements, and remedy issues.
  • Serve as a contractual point of contact on corporate contracts and agreements to clients, SEARCH Management, and SEARCH Project Managers.
  • Refine and maintain standardized corporate agreements for SEARCH to execute.
  • Review and analyze new corporate contracts and agreements and/or changes and modifications to existing contracts and agreements, and provide recommended changes, updates, additions, and deletions to Management and/or items to be negotiated.
  • Provide advice/recommendation and interpretation of contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure to the Principals and leadership team.
  • Modify and negotiate new contracts, agreements, and/or changes and modifications to existing contracts and agreements on behalf of Management.
  • At the Proposal level and prior to contract award, review contract terms and conditions for completeness and consistency with company standards.
  • Monitor and manage contract and agreement timelines, appropriate budget estimate sheets, and contract reporting requirements such as monthly status reports to the Client and Management.
  • Oversee new contract and agreement execution and contract close-out procedures.
  • Provide contract and agreement information and specifications to applicable Project Managers, proposal developers, and Management.
  • Provide contract/teaming narratives and data applicable for marketing, proposals, and data calls.
  • Provide support and training to the Project Managers and Principal Investigators in regards to the contracts they are performing.
  • Identify and independently resolve complex problems related to contract language, procedures, and practices.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of Project Managers to ensure compliance with contract/agreements terms and company policies.
  • Work with Project Managers weekly/monthly to evaluate job cost metrics to ensure that projects are on schedule and on budget.
  • Comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), FAR supplements, and other Government contracting issues for applicable contracts.
  • Prepare independent contractor agreements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
  • Master’s degree in business administration is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of proven contract experience.
  • Strong understanding of Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus, and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal contracting, the Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Department of Defense contracting principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
