Content Specialist

Let’s start with the role

The Content Specialist will plan and execute the brand’s content strategy across various online and offline touchpoints, supporting all relevant communications of the local and international marketing teams. This role is focused on a range of content-driven activities, with a specific emphasis on optimizing the customer’s journey across our services and communication channels, as well as contributing to the successful fulfillment of all content-related requirements of the Betano brand.

• Plan and deliver the editorial calendar on a monthly basis to ensure timely content delivery;
• Provide writing, editing and proofreading services for recurring or ad hoc copy requests, such as new offers or products, campaigns, newsletters, and projects;
• Generate tailor-made promotional content for external partners (publishers, affiliates, radio, etc.) as well as on-site promotional content on all relevant fronts of the website;
• Suggest marketing copy for main and secondary campaigns, based on the channel of use (banners, TVC, on-site, radio references) and optimize existing wording and messaging within a strict regulatory framework;
• Work with local agencies or professionals on social media strategy and content execution;
• Liaise with external partners (journalists, bloggers, influencers,etc.) with content distribution requests;
• Work with local and international Marketing, Product and other teams within the organization;
• Coordinate with the HQ Content team to fulfill inbound content-related tasks, such as operational content (Customer Support, KYC, Payments, CRM etc.), as well as Betting Terms updates, Legal Terms’ amendments, SEO requests, and website/native apps maintenance/optimisation;
• Ensure content aligns with the brand's tone of voice and style guide, produce and/or provide guidelines to publishers for native content creation;
• Monitor competition;
• Act proactively on new ideas on content formats and distribution.

What you’ll bring:

• University Degree in Marketing / Communications / Media or other relevant fields;
• At least 1-3 years of agency/marketing experience;
• Ideally, a background in sports betting content creation and/or experience in sports/online sports editorial;
• Native Czech speaker, fluent in English;
• Strong understanding of digital/online technology and its application;
• Experience in content management systems (CMS) and SEO practices;
• Adeptness in working in a fast-paced environment;
• Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
