Content Marketing Manager (Campaign Focus)

RELEX Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic writer to join our Content Marketing team as a Content Marketing Manager. This is a full-time position for someone with extensive experience writing for B2B audiences. Our new Content Marketing Manager will be able to make an immediate impact, learning quickly about retail and supply chain planning and our software offering while developing strong written content. Your goal is to create compelling short and long-form content and media that grow our brand awareness and generate leads. 

Our future Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution and coordination of a wide range of content projects. You’ll work closely with:

  • RELEX subject matter experts from across the company who share their industry and customer expertise. 
  • Demand Generation – who places our content in front of our target lists digitally. 
  • Product Marketing – who guides our product messaging. 
  • Brand & Creative team – who make our content visually compelling. 
  • External Communications – who ensure our content gets media coverage and is distributed through social channels. 
  • 9 Content Marketers – who work collaboratively to ensure we publish the best possible work while maintaining a manageable workload balance. 

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to define, own, and implement their vision for how content marketing can elevate the ABM strategy at RELEX. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Writing and editing for a variety of formats and channels. Typical projects include white papers, blog posts, landing pages, email sequences, advertising copy, and more. You must be comfortable releasing drafts for copyedits/polishing by teammates with distance/fresh eyes and vice versa. 
  • Collaborating with Campaign and Content Managers on content strategy, planning, and execution. 
  • Collaborating with Brand & Creative Managers on producing various media, including images for content, external syndication, brochures and factsheets, eBooks, landing pages, social media, and more.  
  • Building your own product and industry expertise and working closely with subject matter experts to ensure messaging aligns with RELEX’s best practice recommendations. 
  • Sharing your writing expertise with teammates and colleagues to collaboratively support their projects, including event messaging and materials, video scripts, and more. 
  • SEO optimization of relevant content, working closely with the SEO working group to ensure compliance with company strategy. 

What we're looking for: 

  • Strong experience in written content creation, with high attention to detail.  
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to set, communicate, and meet clear deadlines. 
  • Background in B2B technology marketing. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on project needs. 
  • Enthusiasm for continuous product education and skill development. 
  • And, of course, the ability to have fun while working. 

What consider a bonus:

  • Agency background or similar experience coordinating several projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience in and understanding of the retail, wholesale, and CPG industries, and enterprise software. 
  • Experience in marketing campaign planning and management. 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and AfterEffects. The position does not require direct work within the applications but will enable you to better communicate and brief projects with other teams.
