What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a Content Implementer to convert new and existing assets and bring them into Fortnite. In this role you’ll utilize your experience and knowledge of UE4 (and/or UE5) to help push the quality of the project and delight players with new and exciting content.

In this role, you will

  • Prepare and convert content for in-game use, sometimes months in advance
  • Own the implementation step for assets in the game by creating and managing file structures, blueprints and setting up data assets
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, to help ensure assets look and function appropriately
  • Communicate with various disciplines regarding status and known issues with content
  • Aggressively seek ways to improve and automate the implementation process to make it faster and less error prone

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience with UE4/5
  • Detail oriented mindset for content that promotes high quality output
  • Ability to communicate your ideas and collaborate with others
  • Understanding of how content dependencies work
  • Basic art knowledge, basic knowledge of various 2d & 3d applications and how to relate those to real time game art
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and processes quickly
  • Ability to innovate processes and procedures to improve your own workflow and help others
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Experience with 3d modeling software such as Maya or 3DS Max
  • Deep familiarity with Creative or UEFN Modes
