Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa clients. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations and technology, VCA solves strategic problems and identifies opportunities for Visa clients and partners such as retail banks, fintechs, (online) retailers, airlines, etc.
Typical projects may include:
- How can a bank drive activation and usage of card products in specific customer segments?
- How can use of transactional data impact cards performance?
- How can behavioral data be leveraged to predict future cardholder actions and tailor interventions accordingly?
- How can we implement machine learning models to drive card spend?
- How can we segment cardholders based on e.g. spending patterns, demographics to tailor marketing and retention strategies?
- How can we develop models to predict customer churn and devise strategies to retain high-value customers
- How can we analyze spending patterns to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
What we expect of you, day to day:
- Support the VCA team in sales and delivery of projects for Visa clients from CEE markets in cards’ portfolio optimization field
- Understand effective project management through the utilization of industry-standard frameworks, comprehensive planning, and continuous monitoring to achieve project goals
- Support strategy to market activities including but not limited to workshops, client meetings, content development etc.
- Perform market and trend analyses using Visa’s comprehensive global market research capabilities and data tools to obtain valuable insights
- Wrapping the outcomes of analyses into ready-to-use PowerPoint slides / minimal viable products / dashboards
- Support the VCA team with ongoing operations, administration and team building activities
- Collaborate with other Visa divisions, e.g. Account Management Team, Data Science Lab, Product, Marketing, etc. in developing and offering to the clients
- Act as part a global team experiencing the power of big global technology company
What we're after...
- Previous experience at a large management consulting firm or similar role at Banks/FIs, with proven project deliveries and expertise in consulting methodologies
- Experience in card business, esp. portfolio management, CRM, marketing, value proposition development
- Experience in running projects
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent
- International student exchange would be an asset
- Proactive, curious, with experience of being a self-starter and has a willingness to learn
- Problem solver with demonstrated thought leadership
- Flexible, adaptable and able to think quickly
- Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Evidence on excellent communication skills
- Confident communication style and ability to appropriately engage with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to thrive in high pressure situations and a fast paced and matrixed environment
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills - highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Comfortable managing spreadsheets, devising formulas, and performing data analysis, while also building Executive presentations
- Additionally, an internship experience in financial or payment services gained ideally in consultancy practice, payment scheme or retail bank would be an asset
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
