Control Risks is seeking a candidate with consulting experience to join its rapidly growing Crisis and Security Consulting Team in the DACH region. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly capable truly global team of experts and to play a critical part in shaping our DACH offering.

- Deliver excellent quality service on national and international engagements

- Support our clients actively with the design, implementation and development of security, business continuity or crisis management systems tailored to their organizational setup and in line with the relevant industry standards

- Regularly work directly with clients as a senior subject matter expert to present our service portfolio in close cooperation with the sales team

- Identify, analyse, and assess risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies for our clients

- Represent Control Risks, present our views and facilitate workshops for clients, industry meetings and associations

- Managing and leading international proposals and bids

- Project scoping, pricing, budget monitoring, planning, and reporting – deliver input to reporting and forecasting systems

- Ensure invoicing occurs smoothly, accurately, and timely for the managed client projects

- Create proposals in close coordination with all service lines and the CSC DACH team - regional and global

- Oversee the development and implementation of risk and governance operating models, focusing on operational risk, regulatory challenges and security management

Requirements

- Demonstrable experience of risk, business continuity, crisis or security management within an established consultancy

- Master’s degree or advanced diploma in risk management or security related field are preferred

- Strong client-facing skills, with proven business development capabilities

- Management of (complex) proposals and client projects within a consulting environment

- Commercially astute when planning and pricing project in terms of time, resources and outcomes

- Good client (both internal and external) management and consulting skills

- People leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and drive the performance of a team and direct reports.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ranging from informal/collegial, proposals and reports to board-level presentations

- Full professional proficiency in German and English is a must
