Position Scope:

As a Territory Sales Representative specializing in PHA sales in the building services/commercial sales market, you will be responsible for driving sales and fostering strong relationships within your territory. You will work closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to promote Victaulic products and solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn the Products:
    • Master Victaulic’s product line and solutions through comprehensive training programs.
  • Know the Industry:
    • Understand grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive techniques (welding, flanging).
    • Stay updated on construction cycles, market trends, and competitor activities.
    • Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations.
  • Understand the Business:
    • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute a business plan.
    • Manage all phases of project pursuit and project management.
    • Gather complete information for quotation requisitions and lead the inside sales team and support staff to meet customer requirements.
  • Build Strong Relationships:
    • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
    • Partner with Victaulic distributors and coordinate with other representatives and regional market specialists.
    • Spend time with customers beyond normal business hours for relationship-building activities.
  • Educate and Influence:
    • Identify customers' needs and educate them about the value of Victaulic products.
    • Conduct tool demos, training sessions, and presentations to influence decision-makers.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous sales experience in value-added products/services, especially in commercial construction, PVF, or mechanical products.
  • Skills: Demonstrated achievements in sales and relationship building. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. Competitive, flexible, resilient, and self-motivated. Strong communication and training abilities.
  • Other: Willingness to travel and work in various conditions.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Remote work with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to conduct inspections and demos, which may involve standing, walking, climbing, and exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.

 

Salary: $7090k (based on experience) + (car, uncapped commission & bonus)
