PRG is seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team to lead cable and fiber construction projects.
We are looking for an experienced cable/telco Construction/Project Manager with a solid MDU construction background (cable/telephone company) and outside plant experience to manage projects in the Nashville and surrounding areas of Indiana. You will be responsible for field oversight of construction progress, quality control, and reporting. You must be proactive and have solid, positive communication skills.
- Oversee, track, and report on the progress and quality of work being performed by construction contractors.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Keeps clients and others informed about project status and issues impacting client relations.
- Attend contractor meetings and calls as necessary.
- Implement new processes and procedures as set forth by the construction department.
Qualified candidates should also meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years in cable/telecommunications construction and project management
- Must have FTTx and MDU experience
- Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive attitude
- The candidate must be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to communicate with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform with high professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office programs.
- Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition (to be determined by hiring manager) & a valid driver’s license - mileage reimbursement will be paid at the standard Federal rate.
PRG offers the following perks and compensation:
- $75K-$85K depending upon experience
- Mileage reimbursement for vehicle use
