Together with 300 colleagues spread across Europe (40 nationalities and counting), we have big plans: we are building a Europe-wide network of 1,000 beautiful fast-charging stations where electric drivers can charge their cars with energy from the sun and wind. Fastned is expanding its network of fast charging stations in Belgium and is looking to strengthen the local team with a (Senior) Construction Manager. As Construction Manager you will be an integral part of an experienced and international team and you will be responsible for delivering high quality charging stations across Belgium. In this role, you are working in close cooperation with the architect, the project manager and the network development manager as well as with our external construction partners.
Your responsibilities include the planning of construction (checking execution drawings, defining specifications, tendering works and scheduling the delivery of goods), change management and problem solving during the execution, and the supervision of works (quality, health and safety, site acceptance & final accounts). As such, you will frequently be on our construction sites, where you will be able to demonstrate negotiation skills, commercial judgement, setting high quality standards and the ability to manage a larger number of projects and stakeholders in parallel.
Our office is conveniently located at the Martelaarslaan in Ghent. In order for you to be flexible in your job we will provide you with a fully electric company car. Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure.
