What are we doing at Project Resources Group (PRG)? 
 
Project Resources Group has been a leader in construction management and plant damage recovery services since 2001. At PRG, our mission focuses on providing strategic resources for industries and businesses, delivering customized consulting solutions for cable MSO's and service providers.
  
We are currently seeking an Construction Coordinator to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project life cycle. This includes coordinating project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.
  
As an Outside Plant Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for a fiber new build project efficiently coordinating our engineering vendors to produce high quality, highly constructible engineering deliverables. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in ambiguity are critical to success in this role.   

What you’ll do  
In the field, you'll be asked to perform the following functions:  
  • Strong emphasis on walk out small to medium business jobs, to include site surveys, cost estimating and ISP design. 
  • Meet on-sight with property management to discus routing. 
  • Verify as-builts.
  • Troubleshoot any build-out issues in the field.
  • Perform QC/QA on live construction
  • Identify permitting requirements as needed.
  • Communicate with any customers in the path of construction.
In the office, you’ll be responsible for the following functions:  
  • Putting together a bill of materials (BOM)
  • Compile notice-to-proceed (NTP) packages for contractors.
  • Provide weekly reports to management on construction activity.
  • Follow-up with city municipalities regarding permitting issues
Do you have what it takes?  
  • Must have 3+ years of fiber construction.
  • Educated on local area dig laws.
  • Strong background in underground telecom construction
  • Experience with SMB surveys
     
     Skills and abilities:
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and influence subcontractors and vendors
  • Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
  • Impressive ability to organize and prioritize projects.
  • Strong understanding of fiber construction
  • Computer proficiency and Microsoft tools to create, manage, and present data and reporting to various stakeholders and management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adjust delivery to your audience verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to use your vehicle in the field (mileage reimbursement at the standard federal rate)
  • Interested and able to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands.
  • Perform job functions both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.
  • Must be able to walk extensively, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and federal/state required auto insurance 
Our commitment to you  
  • $35-$40/hr. depending upon experience
