Our SelectLeaders' client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee hospital and medical facility construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of healthcare infrastructure projects. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for hospital and medical
  • construction projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other
  • stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as
  • needed. 
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and payment requests.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors. 
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections to maintain high construction standards.
  • Address any deviations from project specifications promptly. 
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, hospital staff, and external partners. 
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and achievements. 
  • Identify potential risks related to construction delays, budget overruns,
  • or design changes.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. 
  • Understand the unique requirements of hospital and medical facilities
  • (e.g., infection control, patient safety, specialized equipment).
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address specific needs 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing construction projects in
  • healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project,
  • Primavera).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
