Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and elicit customer business requirements.
- Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and non-functional for simple and complex efforts.
- Develop customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g., wireframes, use cases, business rules, etc.)
- Implement, by means of system configuration, relevant aspects of the customer’s requirements.
- Perform and support testing and/or training efforts.
- Participate in system design and configuration activities.
- Collaborate closely with customers, technicians, and managerial staff.
- Communicate with third-party vendors and/or partners to address questions, issues, or requests.
- Assist in the estimation of work.
- Stay current on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis or related field.
- Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience.
- ConceptOne and/or other MGA Policy Administrative systems experience.
- SQL queries and data analysis experience.
- Understanding or experience with Relational Databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong time management including work planning, prioritization, and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities or tasks.
