We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards. The successful candidate should play a critical role in mitigating risks and maintaining the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the Company complies with the regulatory requirements set forth by CySEC through Compliance Monitoring Program
- Developing, designing, and re-designing the appropriate procedures of the Company
- Work with the legal team, compliance, and other departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
- Receiving and following up Client complaints or grievances and filing these complaints or grievances
- Prepare reports for senior management & external regulatory bodies as appropriate
- Remain informed about current and forthcoming regulatory updates/changes, and inform the Company’s management accordingly
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of various Company’s policies, manuals, and procedures
- Continuously monitoring the Company's activities to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory framework. Reporting any compliance issues or breaches to the Head of Compliance or Senior Management
- Providing training and guidance to employees about compliance policies, procedures and relevant regulations to foster a culture of compliance within the Company
- Any other duties assigned from time to time from the Company’s Head of Compliance or Senior Management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, law or a related field
- Proven experience in a compliance role within the industry
- Holder of Advanced CySEC's certificate
- Strong knowledge of CySEC regulations and requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
