We are looking for a Compliance Manager to align with Prevail's objectives by integrating them into our management systems. This is achieved through the establishment of a robust, quantifiable, and demonstrable internal control framework that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and corporate policies.
Responsibilities:
These are the key responsibilities within your role. Additional activities and tasks may be expected, but the majority of your time will be spent on:
- Stay current with evolving regulations and standards, adapting policies and practices, as necessary
- Assist with development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Leading company-wide compliance initiatives and ensuring adherence to existing ISO 9001 standards.
- Conducting gap analysis to identify areas of non-compliance and developing action plans to address these gaps.
- Allocating resources effectively to build and maintain a functioning compliance capability within the company.
- Providing monthly progress reports on compliance areas, including performance, KPIs, programme, quality assurance, and feedback where appropriate.
- Ensuring precise and effective data reporting; updating asset datasets in a timely manner.
- Preparing specifications, designs, contract, and tender documentation to procure works and services.
Requirements
- Have led an accreditation process for ISO 9001
- Previous, proven experience leading compliance initiatives and managing compliance programs.
- Comfortable conducting gap analysis and resource allocation.
- Ability to sort through complex issues and implement innovative solutions to resolve difficult problems
- Building and maintaining compliance functions pan-company.
- Excellent communication, planning and collaboration skills
- Must be able to achieve at least SC clearance. (have been in the UK for the last 5 years, pass vetting that includes nationality and immigration status, employment history, unspent criminal records check, departmental records, a security questionnaire (providing personal data), checking against criminal records, credit reference check, Security Service Record Check.)
