Some of the things that you will be doing:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance programs that align with regulatory and industry standards.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure policies and procedures meet compliance needs.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and advise leadership on necessary policy adjustments
- Lead compliance training initiatives to educate employees on regulations and ethical practices.
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure a proactive approach to regulatory risk management and implement best practices.
- Support the development of a strong compliance culture within the organization.
You will be a great fit if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree, in Law, Business Administration or Economics preferred
- Professional qualification in either Compliance and/or Corporate Risk Management would be an asset
- At least 5 years of work experience in a position related to regulatory requirements, risk management, compliance or internal audit
- Full proficiency in English
