About the team: 

At Aspire, we understand the importance of maintaining a strong culture of compliance to protect our organization and ensure the trust of our customers. Our Compliance Team is at the forefront of identifying and addressing regulatory risks, implementing controls, and ensuring that our policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements. This allows Aspire to stay ahead of evolving regulations, proactively identifying potential risks and developing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies, hence contributing to our long-term success. 

About the role:

The manager will support the Indonesia Compliance function to run day-to-day Compliance operation and also to support the company operation to achieve mature Good Corporate Governance that are in par with the regulator requirement and best industry standard. This position reports to the Head of Compliance Indonesia and will work closely with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure operations are in line with regulations and internal procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining compliance framework, policies and procedures
  • L2 Review and analyze KYC information of clients
  • Enhancing and/or aligning compliance group standards with ID entity policy and procedures
  • Compliance key stakeholder for implementation of AML-CFT program
  • Maintaining Compliance reporting obligations
  • Supporting the company to secure necessary approval and/or approval from regulators related to the company initiatives and product.

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 4 years of experience in payment industry and financial services as Compliance
  • Previous experience engaging regulatory body
  • Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Self-starter with high level of initiative
  • Good organizational, analytical and prioritization skills
  • Prior experience in compliance and/or fintech is preferred but not required
